Gifted students are children who possess the "promise" or "potential" for academic success in one or more fields of study. These students require educational provisions in addition to those provided by the regular school program. At Project Challenge, students possessing high academic ability or potential for academic success are given the learning experiences and opportunities designed to address their unique needs, interests and abilities. To address the exceptional abilities of these students, the instruction program is differentiated in terms of level of abstraction, complexity, pacing, breadth, and depth. |
