Students have frequent opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills developed in the classroom through participation in performances. Through these performance opportunities scheduled at various times during the year, students gain experience in performing for an audience and develop confidence in their own performing abilities. Project Challenge Performing Arts students are required to participate in all scheduled performances. We also believe that students of the arts should experience the arts as much as possible. They take their "places" in both individual and group performances. , extending their creative ideas with extensive "in front of an audience" experiences. High School Drama extends the language of the performer as 9th-12th graders integrate their individual skills with fellow actors to create ensembles fully capable of auditioning, rehearsing, directing and producing dramatic literature. |
